In August, Team Atlantic-Pacific headed by Chief Master St. James will be heading down under to the enchanted continent of Australia.
The Team will consist of select Masters, Black Belts, and Gup Members who are dedicated to represent our Federation at
the 2007 Asia Pacific Tang Soo Do Federation Internationals to be held in Darwin, the Northern Territory of Australia on
August 17 and 18, 2007.
The trip will consist of a flight from Atlanta to Los Angeles and then on to Brisbane, Australia.
From there, our Team will meet up with other team members representing Asia Pacific and after a short rest, fly to Darwin
for the Championships. After the Championships, Team members will do some advanced training with Asia Pacific and Atlantic-Pacific
Masters, and then fly to Queensland and the Gold Coast for sightseeing and more training. Our itinerary is still being finalized at
this time and yet we hope to visit the Great Barrier Reef, Cairns, and several other points of interest up and down the Gold Coast.
Team Members will also spend at least two to three days touring Sydney with all it's wonderful sight seeing attractions including,
Harbor Bridge, the Sydney Opera House, China Town plus a whole lot more.
To be eligible for this trip, all Team Members must submit a brief request for
consideration to Headquarters no later than February 1, 2007. At this time, Chief Master St. James
will review all requests and make final selections. In an attempt to keep costs down, we will offer a two week tour for those
who can not be gone any longer. The approximate cost of this trip is $5,000 and yet the cost will depend on final pricing for
airfare, lodging, food, and of course tour packages and souvenirs.
