Three
months after our school opened up we traveled to the Atlantic-Pacific
Tang Soo Do Federation's International Championship in Orlando,
Florida. We took 12 students ranging in age from seven to 48 and we
were awarded a total of 15 medals. To many of these students this
was their first tournament they had ever attended.
Our
future is bright, we have recently acquired a larger facility and
will be moving in May. We will be moving from 1300 square foot to
around 3000 square foot. This will enable us to expand and grow to
our full potential.
We have
many parents that benefit from training with their children. The art of
Tang Soo Do teaches respect and love for the family unit. This is another
reason for our growth, cause were else can a parent get the benefit of
working out and bringing the family together at the same time. The goals
we set will help us grow, become a star in our community and make leaders
of tomorrow. Remember to say loud and proud Tang Soo!
Everybody at Alabama Karate Academy would like to send a special thank
you to Master St. James for all the work he has put forth to grow the
Atlantic-Pacific Tang Soo Do Federation. Without you sir, none of this
would have been possible.
Tang Soo!
