Master Antonio Rivera, Jr. started his training in Tang Soo Do in the fall of 1975.
His first instructor was Master Robert E. Beaudoin. Master Beaudoin was traveling to Meriden to teach at the Meriden Academy of Karate.
Master Rivera tested for his Cho Dan (1st Degree Black Belt) in 1983 under the American Tang Soo Do Association.

In 1983, Master Rivera joined the World Tang Soo Do Association.
He tested for his 2nd Dan in 1987 and his 3rd Dan in 1991. Master Rivera received his Masters rank in 1998 from
Grandmaster Jae Chul Shin. While a member of the WTSDA, Master Rivera was appointed a Regional Director and served
over Region #18 which included Puerto Rico and the surrounding islands. In addition to his years with the WTSDA,
Master Rivera also spent a few years with the International Tang Soo Do Federation under Grandmaster Chun Sik Kim.
Master Rivera's first love is Tang Soo Do. In addition to his training in Tang Soo Do,
Master Rivera is also well versed in Capoeira, Shoot Fighting, Combat Hapkido, and Modern Arnis. His training has
given him the opportunity to travel to many parts of the U.S., Brazil, Korea, the Caribbean, and China.
