Master Klacko launched his martial arts career in 1986 when he began training in Tang Soo Do Moo Duk Kwan under Master Charette in Scranton, PA. In 1991, he joined the World Tang Soo Do Association under the leadership of Grandmaster Jae C. Shin where he achieved the rank of 3rd Degree Black Belt. In 2003, he received the prestigious rank of Master from Grandmaster Richard Byrne of the American Tang Soo Do Association.

Master Klacko is an active figure in the New England Martial Arts Community, participating in numerous local and regional competitions and events. Master Klacko has many areas of expertise including forms, weapons and self defense. He has made a concerted effort to maintain the sharpest possible level of skill and to continually fine tune his technique by supplementing his Tang Soo Do training with expertise in other martial arts disciplines. Having had prior training in the Japanese art of Shotokan (under Master Tabassi) and Aikido, in which he still hold a rank, Master Klacko is also a member of the Korean Jeon Mu Sool Hapkido Association.

In addition to a distinguished teaching career, Master Klacko also has an impressive competitive career, culminating with his qualification in 1995 in the all-American Tae Kwon Do Maryland State Championships, where he was asked to represent his state for the final selection of the US Tae Kwon Do Olympic Team. While he is proud of his technical achievements, he sees his greatest contribution as the development of his students. He believes that the accomplishments of an instructor's students are the true measure of the merits of the instructor. He is committed to helping students develop and flourish in their own right and to share with them the philosophy of Tang Soo Do with respect to fitness, self defense and personal development.
