Master Heather Potter currently holds a 4th degree black belt in Tang Soo Do. She began her training in
Tae Kwon Do at the age of 11. She specializes in weapons with an emphasis on swords as well as self-defense. She has trained under Master Danny Dunn with WTSDA and Master Michael W.
Hicks in Birmingham, AL. She currently trains under Grandmaster John St. James, President of the Atlantic-Pacific Tang Soo Do Federation.

While in the World Tang Soo Do Association, she earned
numerous distinctions. She is a past recipient of Region 6
Instructor of the Year and won the Region 6 Women's
Grand Champion Cup in 2003. She formed the Region 6 Scholarship Committee and was the head chair for over two years. In the 2004 WTSDA World Tournament in Orlando, she placed second in the
weapons forms division performing the Sword Form and
3rd in sparring. In the 2006 World Tournament, she
placed second in sparring.
Master Potter graduated from Birmingham Southern College summa cum
laude in 2002 with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. She attend Alabama School
of Law on academic scholarship and graduated with high honors in May of 2005. Later
that year, she passed the Alabama Bar and was admitted to practice law in the state
of Alabama. She practiced law in her own solo practice focusing on estate planning
and probate issues.
