Master Candidate Jason Duva, 3rd Degree Black Belt (Sam Dan), has over 20 years of martial arts experience and is an instructor at Cambridge Tang Soo Do. Before moving to Cambridge, he founded and was the Chief Instructor of Brown Tang Soo Do in Providence, Rhode Island.
Master Candidate Jason Duva, 3rd Degree Black Belt (Sam Dan), began studying Tang Soo Do in 1985 at Lawrenceville School Karate in Lawrenceville, New Jersey under the instruction of Master Jesse Dunn and Mr. Joel Greenberg. Mr. Duva received his black belt and began teaching as an assistant instructor in 1989. In 1992, he became a certified instructor and founded Brown Tang Soo in Providence, Rhode Island, while continuing his training with Master Steve Voelker. During summer seasons, Mr. Duva taught teenagers at a summer camp in Maine, and has served as a guest instructor at several schools. Throughout his teaching career, Mr. Duva has devoted himself to the physical, mental, and spiritual development of students.

Mr. Duva has supplemented his training by studying the fundamentals of Iaido and Kendo. He is a practicing attorney, specializing in intellectual property and computer law.
