Master Candidate Mark McGee is the owner and Chief Instructor of
Unlimited Success Martial Arts in Allen, TX. Currently a Sam Dan (3rd Degree) in Tang Soo Do under the
Atlantic-Pacific Tang Soo Do Federation, he began his training in 1984 under Master Mark Hale in Tae Kwon Do and has competed
in several national championships. His martial arts background includes military self-defense, Hapkido,
knife fighting & escrima, and Muay Thai, along with extensive training in Haidong Gumdo.

Mr. McGee served in Korea during the 1988 Olympics where he served as an explosive
and demolitions expert; and as a US Paratrooper at Ft. Bragg, NC. His military career included
courses in Survival, Escape, Resistance, & Evasion (SERE), Korean Ranger School, Airborne School,
Sapper School, Special Forces Assessment, and The Ranger Indoctrination Program.

After leaving the Army in 1990 Mr. McGee attended North Carolina State University he obtained degrees in
Microbiology and Cellular Biology. During this time he competed in numerous triathlons, marathons,
and shorter distance races.

Mr. McGee re-dedicated himself to the martial arts in 1999 on his return to Texas as a way to have a
common interest with his son, Ian (now 13 and an E dan). This journey has been an exceptional one, which now includes his entire
family, Natalie (11) and Caleb (8), both green belts.

His non-martial arts career includes working in a county hospital emergency room, a for-profit hospital laboratory
as a phlebotomist and autopsy assistant, weight-loss clinic, and several major pharmaceutical companies as a chemist, supervisor,
and quality manager. He has trained several thousand people in quality management techniques, strategies, team building and
leadership development. He has been featured in Wellness Lifestyle Magazine and the Dallas Morning News; written for Quality
Management Magazine, and was a speaker at the 2002 and 2003 PDMA Sharing Conference.
He also has a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
